My mother-in-law referred me to this organization, and it proved to be exactly the service our daughter needed in order to master reading and learning. We contacted Morrissey-Compton with a clear goal in mind: to understand our daughter’s reading challenge and design an intervention plan that would help her. We achieved that goal and more. They provided our family with personal and comprehensive testing and full explanations along the way. Every question was answered with the utmost warmth and respect for our process. This is a wonderful place to seek quality diagnostic and intervention services.
The Children’s Health Council is a fantastic resource for parents and children with learning differences. CHC achieves its mission to “remove barriers to learning” through their Center, two schools and Community Clinic. I continue to be inspired by the CHC programs and their commitment to share information with the community through free speakers and gatherings for parents seeking support.
This is a group of 15 nonprofit organizations that have come together for a shared goal to support and educate parents of children with learning and attention challenges. When you visit this site, you will find (like I did), it is easy to follow, full of rich and useful information, and achieves its mission to “empower parents to understand their children’s issues and relate to their experiences.” I’ve found practical tips, enlightening articles, and expert advice on this site.
Wunderling Learning Center has been a blessing not only to our daughter, but to our entire family. This learning organization has provided our daughter with life-changing tutoring and learning tools, which have boosted her self-esteem tremendously. Ruthie Wunderling has been working with our daughter since June 2014. Ruthie has my highest recommendation – she is nurturing and collaborative. She understands my concerns and listens to my requests; and most importantly, she gets what our daughter needs down to a T. Ruthie and her team believe that the brain can be trained and memory can be improved with the correct programs. With each student, they aim to utilize the appropriate techniques designed to accommodate learning styles, which in turn helps their students to reduce academic struggles. Wunderling has a clear goal: for each individual to enjoy learning, increase self-esteem, gain academic success, stop their pain and ease his or her frustrations with school. In our family experience with this organization, they have accomplished this goal and more.
